Life Time Announces Live, Free-To-View Coverage of the 2025 Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano

May 20, 2025

Nearly seven hour show will be broadcast on the official Life Time Grand Prix YouTube channel

Emporia, Kan. (May 20, 2025)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Life Time (NYSE: LTH), the nation’s premier healthy lifestyle brand and producer of iconic athletic events, has today confirmed there will be live, free-to-view coverage of the 2025 edition of the 200-mile UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano – the world’s premier gravel event – and second race of the Life Time Grand Prix.

The nearly seven hour show will be broadcast on the official Life Time Grand Prix YouTube channel beginning at 10:00 am CT with a pre-show to bring viewers up to speed on all the action before handing over to live, uninterrupted coverage of both the elite men’s and women’s races. Coverage will continue through to the conclusion of both races’ respective finishes and post-race interviews.

It is the very first time this iconic race has been beamed around the world for free, enabling fans to follow the action, right as it happens.

Bringing the racing to life is an elite cast of talent, with Life Time Grand Prix athlete Payson McElveen – who misses the race through injury – and US cycling legend Meredith Miller sitting alongside former pro and longstanding cycling announcer Bill Elliston in the commentary box, while Mountain Bike Hall of Famer Nat Ross and former pro Lauren Hall will be providing live updates from out on the course.

As always, extended highlights of both the men’s and women’s races will also be published on the official Life Time Grand Prix YouTube channel within days of the event concluding.

Kimo Seymour, Life Time Senior Vice President of Media & Events, said: “At Life Time, we’re focused on elevating the sport of cycling at every level, and bringing live, free-to-stream coverage of the Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano is a major step in that journey. With real-time storytelling, expert commentary, and a global audience tuning in, we are committed to making this iconic race more accessible and engaging.”

The races themselves are shaping up to be captivating. Keegan Swenson and Sofía Gómez Villafañe both showed their dominance once again at the series-opening Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel, but there are a host of riders who will be vying to knock them off the top step of the podium.

The Life Time Grand Prix riders will be joined in the 200-mile race by a strong contingent of additional world-class athletes, with Rosa Klöser back to defend her 2024 crown and Thomas De Gendt – a stage winner in all three Grand Tours – taking part in the men’s race for the very first time. The 2025 edition will also have a new men’s champion as last year’s winner Lachlan Morton is opting to compete in the XL race.

The race will also see the culmination of the Wild Card competition, a new initiative for 2025 offering aspiring athletes the chance to ride their way onto the Life Time Grand Prix leaderboard. Originally three men’s and three women’s spots were available, but one additional has opened up in the men’s competition as Howard Grotts has dropped out of the series as he continues to recover from a serious crash last August.
