Job Purpose:
The US Marketing Activation Specialist is responsible for bringing Nordica’s North American Go-To-Market strategy to life across the United States. This role leads the planning and execution of domestic marketing campaigns, retail and trade activation programs, ambassador partnerships, and consumer-facing brand experiences. This position is ideal for a driven marketing professional ready to step into a role managing agency relationships, national campaigns, and retail activation programs.
Working closely with the North American Marketing & Communications Manager, the US Marketing Activation Specialist manages Nordica’s creative agency in the development of marketing content and oversees the organization and distribution of all brand assets across the U.S. market.
This position also plays a critical cross-functional role within the Nordica marketing team collaborating closely with the Marketing & Communications Specialist to ensure content readiness and digital alignment, and with the National Competitions Manager to integrate athlete and grassroots initiatives into broader US activation plans. Through this collaboration, the US Marketing Activation Specialist ensures that all programs are executed seamlessly, consistently, and in alignment with global brand direction while remaining relevant to the US market environment.
General Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Campaign & Market Activation
- Plan and execute US marketing campaigns and seasonal brand activations in alignment with NorAm GTM strategy and international brand direction.
- Localize global assets for US retail and consumer channels, ensuring brand consistency and market relevance.
- Manage activation calendars, timelines, and deliverables across consumer, retail, and partner channels.
- Track and report campaign performance metrics, consumer engagement, and ROI to inform future activation planning.
- Full execution of US tradeshows & sales meetings planning.
Creative Production & Asset Management
- Serve as day-to-day lead for Nordica’s creative agency, managing briefs, production schedules, and feedback cycles.
- Oversee content creation needs for campaigns, retail partners, and contracted athletes to ensure deliverables are on-brand and on-time.
- Own the digital asset management system, ensuring campaign and athlete assets are properly organized, distributed, and utilized across teams and partners.
Retail, Strategic Account, & Athlete Activation
- Lead US retail activation programs including SWAG, POP, merchandising kits, sales contests, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage CO-OP marketing programs and execution to ensure retailer storytelling aligns with brand standards and seasonal objectives.
- Execute annual activation plans for key Strategic Accounts, coordinating co-branded campaigns and seasonal marketing calendars.
- Manage activation-related budgets and vendor invoices, ensuring efficient use of resources aligned with overall marketing priorities.
- Oversee contracted athlete marketing plans and seasonal content deliverables, ensuring consistent alignment with campaign themes and brand priorities.
Partnerships & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the National Competitions Manager to integrate athlete and grassroots activations into broader campaign programing.
- Partner with the Marketing & Communications Specialist to align content readiness, email, and digital deliverables.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and International Brand teams to ensure cohesive US market execution, reporting, and storytelling continuity.
Budget Administration
- Administration of US marketing budgets, ensuring alignment with planned initiatives and budget tracking.
- Data collection, campaign performance reporting, and ROI analysis for domestic programs tied to budget.
Experience/Capabilities:
3+ years of direct marketing experience in the ski and/or outdoor industry. Managing strategies in the areas of advertising, creative, communications, digital and social media, sports marketing, partner marketing, trade marketing, cause marketing and retail marketing. Experience working with international brand and teams is preferred. Proven track record of success. Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills. Strong Understanding of the Alpine skiing community. Professional demeanor. Ability to contribute to strategic conversations about current issues within our industry.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of MS Office software, with a strong command of MS Excel. Advanced use or marketing automation programs and CRM tools. Adobe Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).

Physical Requirements:
Requires occasional travel. General administrative tasks include sitting or standing at a desk, typing and use of computer. May require periods of standing and/or walking within office or distribution facility. May require some lifting (up to 50 lbs. routinely, 75-100 lbs. occasionally).
