A Brief Overview
As the Brand Marketing Manager for ASICS Sportstyle (SPS), you will lead a 360° strategic approach and execution of major category and seasonal marketing initiatives within the Sportstyle (SPS) business. These initiatives should drive brand strength, fuel consumer demand, and strengthen our connection with lifestyle, fashion-forward, and sports-minded consumers. In addition, this position will oversee the day-to-day with our DTC team and support with key Sportstyle (SPS) retail partners and specialty accounts. The role will lead strategy development, work cross-functionally with our internal ANA/global marketing partners, project management, support sell-in, execution, and evaluation of major Sportstyle (SPS) category marketing programs. This position is part of a highly collaborative team atmosphere where cross-pollination of different departments and teammates is critical for success. This role requires a dynamic, passionate, and adaptable personality with a self-starter and entrepreneurial attitude.

Leadership Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Marketing and key cross functional teammates to develop, build, grow and create a clear SPS strategy tied to regional/global KPI metrics that will set ASICS up for growth and success. Will run point for the ANA region for all global marketing
  • Manage U.S. Marketing communication and collaboration with global and regional teams including cadence of meetings, program updates, execution plans, AHQ reports and recap decks for all category-aligned Brand activations
  • Support cross functional partners, using earned and paid media, content marketing, seeding (athletes & influencers) and social engagement to extend the voice of SPS
  • Develop, present and execute seasonal Sportstyle marketing campaigns and presentation decks from concept to implementation with key cross functional partners
  • Build and maintain relationships with key Sportstyle retailers, partners, and influencers
  • Drive efforts in creating, aligning & executing all key Brand initiatives, in-store and out of store (POP, fixtures, shop in shops, digital and social).
  • Strategize, build and help manage SPS marketing budgets including overarching yearly budget, co-op budget with specialty accounts, daily bill processing for vendors and retailers and monthly budget actualization to stay within established annual budgets
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform strategic direction for the Sportstyle business
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures

How You’ll Be Successful

  • Proven ability to work in a small team, with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly analytical and adept at storytelling using data to thoughtful make data-driven decisions
  • Strategic thinking with strong project management skills in a must
  • Experience in developing creative briefs and managing marketing timelines
  • Proficient at creating and delivering compelling presentations to accounts and stakeholders
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and manage various stakeholders (regionally and globally)
  • Ability to work in a global capacity to support business needs and hours
  • Passionate and knowledgable within the sports and pop culture industries preferred
  • A can-do attitude with the mindset that no job is too small

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications or Business or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in a Branding/Marketing role (retail, digital and/or traditional marketing) required
  • Experience with Microsoft365 products (Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, OneDrive)
  • Experience using Asana project management software preferred

SALARY / PAY RANGE: $81,000 – $90,000
