Gran Fondo National Series and ROUVY Announce Schedule for 9-Event E-Fondo Series

Competitors will be able to qualify for USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships

(Gettysburg, PA – December 15, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Gran Fondo National Series announced the event schedule for the 6^th Annual E-Fondo Series, a 9-event series of competitive esports cycling events hosted on ROUVY’s virtual cycling platform. This year’s E-Fondo Series will be presented by Wahoo, highlighting the long-standing relationship between Gran Fondo National Series and Wahoo Fitness.

The E-Fondo Series p/b Wahoo features timed segment competitions like Gran Fondo National Series’ real-world events. E-Fondo Series events will be hosted weekly on the ROUVY indoor cycling app from January 18, 2026 through March 8, 2026.

Calendar and Competition Format

Routes for the E-Fondo Series feature video footage captured on real Gran Fondo National Series courses, allowing riders to preview in-person events and experience the terrain using smart trainer technology. Each E-Fondo Series event will have two timed segments on the course, and a rider’s cumulative time through the two segments will determine his or her competition result. Start-to-finish time in these events is not counted toward the competition, only segment times.

The 2026 E-Fondo Series will include the following events, each of which will have three race times to accommodate time zone schedules.

• E-Fondo Florida – Sunday, January 18, 2026
• Cheaha E-Fondo – Sunday, January 25, 2026
• E-Fondo Georgia Route 1 – Sunday, February 1, 2026
• E-Fondo Georgia Route 2 – Wednesday, February 4, 2026
• Cache E-Fondo – Sunday, February 8, 2026
• E-Fondo Asheville – Sunday, February 15, 2026
• Bogus Basin – Wednesday, February 18, 2026
• E-Fondo Maryland Route 1 – Sunday, February 22, 2025
• E-Fondo Maryland Route 2 – Sunday, March 1, 2026

Registration, Results, and #GFNats Qualification
A ROUVY subscription is required. E-Fondo Series events are free to enter and ROUVY is offering a 30-day free trial available to riders who want to participate. Riders must register on the E-Fondo webpage at granfondonationalseries.com for their event results to be included in the E-Fondo Series Points Competition. To be eligible for the points competition, riders must complete at least four E-Fondo Series events.

Based on a rider’s standings in the E-Fondo Series Points Competition they can also qualify for the 2026 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships p/b Ourisman Automotive which will be held in Frederick, Maryland, on September 20, 2026. A rider who completes at least four events and is in the top 15% of the Points Competition will qualify for the 2026 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships. Completion of the E-Fondo Series (i.e., riding at least 4 events) will count as completing one (1) in-person SENA Gran Fondo National Series event for the purposes of #GFNats qualification. Additional a rider’s placement in the 2026 E-Fondo Series can be count towards the annual Gran Fondo National Series points competition, with the E-Fondo Series points being equal to the points earned in one IRL Series event.

Raffle Prizes

E-Fondo Series riders who complete at least four events will be eligible to win raffle prizes, including a KICKR ROLLR bike trainer from Wahoo Fitness, entries into IRL Gran Fondo National Series events, and annual memberships from ROUVY. The prize drawing will be held after the conclusion of the final event.
