Gold Coast T100 Triathlon Age Grouper 100km Race Sells Out
July 4, 2025

Queensland, Australia (July 4, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The 100km age group race at next year’s Gold Coast T100 Triathlon on 21-22 March, 2026, has sold out in just nine days, having gone on sale 23 June, 2025.
“We thought there would be strong demand for the age group races,” said Ben Mannion, the CEO of Events Management Queensland, who signed a long-term hosting agreement with the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) in May this year.
“The speed with which we’ve sold out the 100km age group race is very encouraging and we are already looking at ways in which to grow the capacity for the race. But, for the time being, anyone wanting to get involved can sign up for a standard distance triathlon at https://t100triathlon.com/gold-coast/participate/ or register their interest for our mass participation run which will go on sale soon.”
The Gold Coast T100 Triathlon will be a two-day triathlon multisport festival, featuring professional races involving the world’s top 20 female and top 20 male triathletes and a range of age group and mass participation events, as well as the newly created National Club Championships, in partnership with AusTriathlon, the national governing body for triathlon in Australia. The event is supported by Experience Gold Coast and the Queensland Government through Tourism & Events Queensland.
The 9-leg 2025 T100 Triathlon World Tour was in Vancouver on 14-15 June last month, with American star and 2024 T100 World Champion Taylor Knibb securing her first win of the season in the pro women’s race and Belgian Olympian Jelle Geens also taking his first top step of the year for the men. They competed alongside 3,000 amateurs doing a combination of a 100km and Sprint triathlons as well as a 5km community fun run. The next T100 race is in London on 9-10 August.
