Georgia Taylor-Brown Returns to Triathlon as Crown Racing Name All-Star Squad for Supertri League 2025
July 3, 2025

LONDON, UK (July 3, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Defending Supertri League champions Crown Racing have named a powerhouse squad of athletes for 2025, including a return to triathlon for three-time Supertri champion Georgia Taylor-Brown.
The British star, the most successful athlete in Supertri history, has not competed in a triathlon in 2025, but will return to the Crown Racing line-up for Supertri League 2025, where she will race alongside the Olympic and World champion Cassandre Beaugrand.
That incredible double act is joined by French star Emma Lombardi, experienced Supertri athlete Emma Jeffcoat, and young talents Aspen Anderson and Barbara De Koning.
It is all change for Crown Racing in their men’s squad for 2025, with Vasco Vilaça making the move from Stars & Stripes to head their line-up. Canadian duo Tyler Mislawchuk and Charles Paquet will be well supported in a home opener in Toronto with Crown rounding out their squad with Spain’s Roberto Sanchez Mantecon, promising Australian talent Brayden Mercer and Portugal’s Ricardo Batista.
Crown Racing team manager, 4-time triathlon World champion Chris McCormack, said: “Crown Racing didn’t just participate last season – we set the standard, achieving a clean sweep of the women’s, men’s, and team League titles. As defending champions, maintaining that level of excellence is our clear objective.
“This season, we return with a formidable roster that brings together proven champions from the Bahrain Victorious 13 team – including the reigning Olympic and World titleholder – alongside bold new talent. Crown Racing is poised to lead from the front and reaffirm our position at the pinnacle of the sport.”
Crown Racing marks the continued expansion of Supertri in the Middle East and is supported by long-time triathlon backers Bahrain Victorious 13, who joined as principal partners with a stated aim of recruiting global superstars, dominating the sport and inspiring triathlon’s development in the region.
The team reinforces Supertri’s commitment to the region, building on previous work in NEOM, Saudi Arabia, and collaborations with local federations to grow the sport at the grassroots level.
Crown Racing, who have won two of the four Supertri teams titles thus far, is positioned to elevate regional participation and visibility in triathlon, with efforts including youth development programmes, Arabic-language broadcasts, and close alignment with Saudi Triathlon Federation initiatives. The 2024 Supertri Grand Final was held in NEOM, showcasing Crown Racing as a flagship for both elite performance and community impact in the Middle East.
Each team in Supertri League 2025 can name four male and four athletes at each event. All points accrued by the athletes count towards the Teams League over the course of the season.
The athletes get their first taste of Supertri action this year in Toronto on July 26, before tackling the other venues for 2025, which include Chicago (August 23), Jersey (September 21) and Toulouse (October 5). Crown Racing are the third Supertri League team to be announced for 2025 after Stars & Stripes Racing and Brownlee Racing.
