Details around the 2026 symposium are expected to be announced in spring 2026.
“Annually, the Neurologic Symposium offers a platform for direct communication with patients and caregivers, highlighting the collective impact of our global community,” said Dr. Eric Klawiter, M.D. “We are continually making strides addressing previously untreatable neurologic diseases, starting at the local level as a direct consequence of the McCourt Foundation’s unwavering support for neurological research.”
The symposium is one of many events hosted by the foundation each year that support and execute its mission to cure neurological diseases while empowering communities to build a healthier world by funding research and programs to advance neurological health, foster community wellness and make a lasting impact. The organization raises vital funds towards its three pillars of research, education and partnerships through iconic running events including the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon, Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K, Santa Monica Classic and Boston Waterfront 5K. Alongside the symposium, the McCourt Foundation also hosts a Spring Soiree fundraiser in Boston each year.
