EPIC Event Center Announces Post-Race Concert for 2026 EPIC Marathon & Running Festival

Lita Ford and Brian Vander Ark of The Verve Pipe to Perform Free Show for Runners, Spectators, and Community

Green Bay, WI. (September 30, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – After a successful inaugural year in 2025, the EPIC Marathon & Running Festival returns to Green Bay on Sunday, May 17, 2026—and it’s bringing even more excitement to the finish line. EPIC Event Center, in partnership with Race Day Events announces that legendary rocker Lita Ford and acclaimed singer-songwriter Brian Vander Ark of The Verve Pipe will headline the post-race concert.

The free performance will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at EPIC Event Center, open to race participants, spectators, and the general public.

“Last year we proved this event could be something truly special for Green Bay and the running community,” said Ryan Vander Sanden, General Manager of EPIC Event Center. “This year, we’re raising the bar with two iconic artists that will give runners the celebration they deserve and the community a reason to join in the fun—even if they’re not running a mile.”

“Our goal is to create a premier running experience that combines a fast course, great organization, and unforgettable memories,” said Ryan Griessmeyer, Race Director and Owner of Race Day Events. “The addition of nationally recognized music at the finish line is part of what makes the EPIC Marathon more than a race—it’s a festival.”

The 2026 festival will once again feature multiple distances including the marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, half marathon relay, 5K, and kids’ run. Runners will be treated to live music along the course, culminating in the celebratory post-race concert. The EPIC Marathon is a Boston-qualifier race and is quickly establishing itself as one of the most unique running events in the Midwest.
