DATEV Challenge Roth Named ‘Race of the Year’ for the 14th Time in a Row

At the renowned ‘Sailfish Night of the Year’ on 29 November 2025 near Frankfurt, DATEV Challenge Roth was named the best race of the year for the 14th time in a row.

ROTH / LANGEN (November 30, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ –  The triathlon district of Roth remains the at heart of international triathlon. At the renowned ‘sailfish Night of the Year’ on 29 November 2025 in Langen near Frankfurt, DATEV Challenge Roth was named the best race of the year for the 14th time in a row. This impressive series consolidates the event’s leading position in the global triathlon community.

Convincing success in the vote

With a strong 51% of the votes, DATEV Challenge Roth once again took the top spot in the online vote by the readers of triathlon magazine. Second and third place went to the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii (18 percent) and the World Championship in Nice (11 percent).

DATEV Challenge Roth remains a distinctive highlight in the international triathlon calendar. The next event will take place on 5 July 2026. Athletes from 110 nations make the long-sold-out race a globally unique triathlon festival.
