Challenge Florianópolis Set to Close the 2025 Challenge Family Racing Season

November 25, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Bringing the 2025 Challenge Family season to a close, Challenge Florianópolis will take place on Sunday, 30 November, on the coastline of Santa Catarina, Brazil. More than 1,000 age group athletes are set to compete in the Sprint and Middle Distance races this weekend. The large field is testament to the popularity of Challenge Florianópolis which is taking place for the second time this year after the April edition.
Florianópolis, known as the “Magic Island,” features over 100 beaches and a coastline that attracts athletes and supporters alike. The race begins with a sunrise swim from the famous Jurerê Internacional beach, where athletes will start their day in calm, moderate waters.
The bike course begins along the coast before heading inland, passing several well-known areas of the island. With a mix of fast sections and technical turns, it provides a fair test for all competitors.
The run returns to Jurerê Internacional, taking athletes through its central streets with strong spectator support along the way. The finish line features music, crowds, and a lively atmosphere that reflects the spirit of the local community and why this destination is so popular.
