Bucks County Classic Pro Women’s race lengthened to 50km for 2025

July 30, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Thanks to the continued support of Pro Women’s Race Presenting Sponsor Penn Medicine Doylestown Health, racers participating in the 2025 Bucks County Classic will race 50 kilometers instead of 25 miles as in years past.

Penn Medicine Doylestown Health is proud to serve as the longest standing supporter of the Pro Women’s Race. “As a hospital founded by visionary women and committed to advancing health and wellness in our community, we are proud to continue our support of the Bucks County Classic’s Women’s Pro Race,” said Jim Brexler, CEO, Penn Medicine Doylestown Health. “This event celebrates strength, perseverance, and community – values that reflect our mission and the remarkable legacy of the women who founded Doylestown Hospital more than 100 years ago.”

The Penn Medicine Doylestown Health Pro Women’s Race will begin at 11:30am at Court Street and Printer’s Alley. The new length will add four laps to the race on the 1.4 mile course and bring the total feet of climbing to nearly 2000’. A $10,000 prize purse will be offered with those finishing in the top twenty winning a share of it.

Previous race winners include two time winner, Skylar Schneider (USA), and Olympians Marlies Mejias Garcia (Cuba), Lily Williams (USA), Lauretta Hanson (AU), Paola Andrea Muñoz Grandon (Chile), and Rebecca Wiasek (AU).

The Bucks County Classic is a USA Cycling sanctioned race organized by MSH Productions LLC. The race is made possible through the support of the Borough of Doylestown and local businesses. This year’s event is made possible thanks to the Thompson Organization, Penn Medicine Doylestown Health, Eastburn & Gray P.C., Doylestown Health Foundation, Marshall Financial Group, Verge Sport, Hepatitis B Foundation, Baruch S Blumberg Institute and the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center, Jarrett Vaughan Builders Inc, Restore Dispensaries, Salus Integrative Health/Hydrate2O, Heiler Painting, Delaware Valley Trusts, TD Bank, Dermatology Partners, Inspired Closets of Philadelphia, and Bridge Acupuncture.
