January 7, 2026
With less than six months to go until the inaugural Enhanced Games, the men’s 100m lineup is beginning to take shape. On Wednesday, The Times reported that British Olympian Reece Prescod has become the latest sub-10-second sprinter to commit to the controversial, drug-encouraged competition.
Prescod, 29, owns a personal best of 9.93 seconds in the 100m, making him the fourth-fastest British sprinter in history. He has represented Great Britain at both the Olympic Games and World Championships, winning medals at the European and world level, in addition to being a two-time British national 100m champion. Prescod also made headlines at the Tokyo Olympics, where he was disqualified from the 100m semi-finals after a false start. CANADIAN Running Magazine
