Boulderthon presents Race Together, Fly Together Sweepstakes with partner Frontier Airlines, featuring $40,000 in prizes

Run clubs nationwide can win a getaway to the second fastest-growing marathon in the U.S.

BOULDER, Colo. (July 15, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Boulderthon, presented by PUMA, has announced the launch of its brand new campaign, Race Together, Fly Together Sweepstakes, presented in partnership with Frontier Airlines, America’s Greenest Airline and Denver’s hometown carrier. The campaign welcomes run clubs nationwide to apply, with the grand prize winner receiving up to $2,000 in Frontier flight credits, five complimentary race entries and a two-night hotel stay in Boulder. The top 20 clubs will receive up to $2,000 in Frontier Airlines flight credits, the opportunity to be featured in a national spotlight and exclusive access to Boulderthon’s invite-only VIP Run Club Meetup. Applications for the Race Together, Fly Together with Frontier campaign are currently open.

The campaign is built for run clubs located in key markets, including Atlanta, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tampa. Run clubs or groups of runners with five or more participants are eligible to apply, and those selected will have the opportunity to use the awarded flight credits to travel to the Boulderthon event taking place Sept. 28, 2025. Selections will be chosen at random. The application deadline for Race Together, Fly Free with Frontier is Aug. 1, 2025.

Boulderthon offers five distances for participants to take part in, the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids Run. Boulderthon’s marathon and half marathon courses will take participants through different landscapes set at the foothills of the Flatirons, with views of the Boulder Reservoir, Table Mountain and Haystack Mountain along their way. The fast, flat course features limited elevation change and multiple straightaways, making for high-quality race day performances. The 10K course will run participants through the streets of Boulder showcasing the scenic town, before leading them to Downtown Boulder for the iconic finish on the historic Pearl Street Mall. The second annual Heart to Heart 5K by BCH features an all-road, fast and flat experience for all participants, allowing wheelchair athletes and those utilizing wheeled vehicles, like duo runners, to take part in the event.

The top-rated, fast-growing multi-distance event became the second-largest race in Colorado in its first year of existence, and the largest fall running event in the state. In its fourth annual edition, Boulderthon drew nearly 10,000 runners from all 50 states as well as 22 countries. This secured its entry into the list of the top 100 largest running events in the country, as reported by RunSignUp. In 2023, Active.com named Boulderthon one of the Top 5 Best Half Marathons in the United States, and the following year the 5K and half marathon courses were both named a top 10 in their categories by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice awards.
