25th Anniversary to Host 13,500 Runners

Baltimore, MD (October 8, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today that a projected 13,500+ runners will converge on the City of Baltimore on Saturday, October 18th for the 25th annual Baltimore Running Festival. The festival has attracted runners from all 50 states and 26 foreign countries to compete in one of its four races: Full Marathon, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Half Marathon, Pandora 10K, and 5K.

The day kicks off with the 7:30AM start of the 5K at McKeldin Square near the intersection of Light and Pratt Streets at the Inner Harbor. The Marathon and Pandora 10K start 30 minutes later on Camden and Paca St. The CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Half Marathon and its field will get underway at 9:30 AM in the Inner Harbor.

WBAL-TV, WBAL-Radio and 98Rock will once again broadcast the event live. Broadcast coverage starts at 6:00 AM and concludes at 11:00 AM. In addition to covering the athletic competition of the event both TV and radio coverage features the unique community and human-interest stories that permeate the event.

The Harborplace Light Street Pavilion will host the Health & Fitness Expo, where runners come to pick-up their bibs and their Under Armour race shirt. Expo hours are Friday from 11am-7pm.

According to the Regional Economic Studies Institute at Towson University, the Baltimore Running Festival should generate an estimated annual economic impact of 25 million dollars this year. Over the 25 years the Baltimore Marathon and Running Festival has brought over 600 million dollars of economic impact to the Baltimore area. Since its inception the Baltimore Running Festival has donated over five million dollars to local charities and has helped raise 55 million dollars since its inception in 2001.
