Treat PR Adds Six Trophies to its Collection for Media Relations, Crisis Comms at PROTOS Awards

Record number of awards were earned by the endurance sports PR firm for their work with running events across the U.S. this past year

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (September 19, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/Treat Public Relations, the endurance sports industry’s premier public relations partner, took home its highest-ever total awards at the Public Relations Society of America Orange County chapter’s annual PROTOS Awards on Sept. 17. Treat PR’s team was presented with six trophies, which included four PROTOS Awards and two Awards of Excellence. The firm tied for the most awards earned by an organization that evening.

PROTOS Awards recognize the top-scoring entry in a category, and Treat PR earned four awards at this level this year – a record number for the agency. The PROTOS Awards given were for their work with:

Awards of Excellence honor other entries in each category with high scores. Treat PR earned two awards at this level, one for their collaboration with the Carlsbad Marathon in the ‘Total Program – Consumer Programs’ category and another for their collaboration with Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend in the ‘Crisis Communications/Issues Management Programs’ category.

The firm adds these trophies to the awards shelf alongside two previously awarded PROTOS Awards and five previously earned Awards of Excellence.
