As a former runner-up at the 70.3 World Championship, he has claimed three Ironman titles and won fifteen middle-distance races in his early career. Sam recently finished runner up at the IRONMAN 70.3 St. George North American Championship over the weekend, a race that boasted the most competitive start list of the season.
