Limited additional capacity released for Europe’s most popular IRONMAN® and IRONMAN® 70.3® triathlons

March 23, 2022

Opportunity to race in some of Europe’s most loved races

LONDON, UK /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The IRONMAN Group has today announced a limited release of additional race entries for 11 of the public’s favourite European races.

Including the likes of Mainova IRONMAN European Championship Frankfurt, which has been the arena for some of the most memorable elite triathlon racing of the past few years, as well as the immensely popular IRONMAN Kalmar which has previously been voted the most recommended race globally by triathletes.  Athletes now have one more chance to join the starting line of some of triathlon’s “hall of fame” races.

Athletes from the UK and Ireland who prefer to race close to home but weren’t quick enough to secure a spot in the big three races can now sign up to IRONMAN UK, the festival weekend of IRONMAN Ireland, Cork and the now famed IRONMAN Wales.

Athletes who may not be ready to tackle an IRONMAN triathlon, can set their sights on IRONMAN 70.3 Kraichgau powered by KraichgauEnergie, where Jan Frodeno took the crown in 2019 with an impressive 3.53.06 in the ‘land of 1,000 hills’, or join the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea which sold out in record time.

So, we have been working closely with the operations teams in each event country to make this happen while continuing to ensure a smooth and safe event experience.  We are excited to be re-opening these races to the public and look forward to welcoming athletes from all over the world to some of our most sought-after European races.”
