2026 AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Series Offers New Challenge

New Double Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquabike

Clermont, FL (November 6, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/— The AdventHealth Cool Sommer Mornings Triathlon-Duathlon-5K Series returns to Clermont Waterfront Park for its 2026 season, bringing four themed events filled with family fun, fitness, and Florida sunshine — plus an exciting new challenge for athletes looking to test their limits.

New in 2026, the series introduces “Double” Sprint options — including the Double Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquabike. Participants will complete two full sprint-distance courses back-to-back for an endurance test unlike anything the series has offered before. The Double Sprint Triathlon replaces the intermediate distance of previous years.

“This new double format gives athletes an exciting way to level up,” said Fred Sommer, founder of Sommer Sports. “It’s twice the challenge and twice the fun — perfect for those looking to push themselves while enjoying the same festive atmosphere the Cool Sommer Series is known for.”

Each race in the 2026 series features a unique, playful theme and family-friendly atmosphere:

• June 14: Magical Unicorn
• July 12: Patriotic Yeti
• August 9: Mighty Dragon
• September 13: Mysterious Kraken

Events include a 5K Run, Sprint Triathlon (individual and relay), Duathlon, Aquabike, Aquathlon, and the all-new Double Sprint distances.

The Cool Sommer Mornings Series is renowned for its welcoming community, scenic courses along Lake Minneola, and lively post-race celebration — making it a summer tradition for athletes of all levels. Now in its 41^st year, it is one of the longest running multisport series in the nation.
