2025 Point Series Champions Crowned by Gran Fondo National Series

November 17, 2025

Thirty-three champions crowned across Gran, Medio, and Piccolo distances.

Gettysburg, PA (November 17, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/Gran Fondo National Series congratulates 23 Points Series Champions at the conclusion of the 2025 Gran Fondo National Series. The season-long competition rewards accomplishment and consistency by awarding points to cyclists who compete in at least three Gran Fondo National Series events.

The Gran Fondo National Series, which recently wrapped up its 14th season, exhibited strong attendance numbers and sponsor support despite a challenging environment for road cycling events in the United States. The timed-segment competition format, which the Series pioneered for road cycling events in the US, is a contributing factor in the Series’ ongoing success. Competitive standings are based on each athlete’s cumulative time through designated segments of each course, rather than start-to-finish time. This format encourages social engagement and rider safety because athletes can regroup between timed segments and stop at aid stations and follow traffic rules with no risk of losing time to other competitors. Series owned events include: Gran Fondo Florida, Tour of Georgia Gran Fondo, Highlands Gran Fondo, Gran Fondo Asheville, Boone Gran Fondo, Gran Fondo Maryland, and USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships. Cyclists can also earn Series Points at Partner-Events.

Series Points Championships titles are awarded in each Gran, Medio, and Piccolo Route age-group category, to the rider who has the fewest number of points after participating in a minimum of three Gran Fondo National Series events in the same distance category. A rider’s best three results are counted towards their point totals. Click here to see more about Series- Points.
