For ten years, the Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon has united the community through movement, wellness, and giving back. Hosted at Ski Beach and featuring fast, flat courses with panoramic bay views, the event is widely recognized as San Diego’s most scenic half marathon. In 2025, runners set record-breaking speeds, proving it’s a favorite for both seasoned athletes and those new to racing. Participants can choose between the Half Marathon, 2-Person Relay, or 5K, with each distance offering a supportive, energizing experience for runners and walkers of all levels.
