SAN DIEGO, California – January 10, 2013 – XLAB, a leader in aerodynamic hydration and storage systems, is pleased to announce the newest member to its growing list of World Champions, Leanda Cave. The agreement lets Leanda train and race with XLAB aerodynamic hydration carriers, storage systems and inflation for multiple years.
Leanda Cave is no stranger to XLAB, clenching her recent Ironman 70.3 and Ironman World Championships with XLAB products. From this new partnership, Leanda finds herself in great company, joining 2012 Ironman World Champion Pete Jacobs along with 2011 Ironman World Champions, Craig Alexander and recently retired Chrissie Wellington.
“I am constantly looking for new products that improve my performance on the bike. For this reason, I am very excited to have XLAB on board to provide me with products that are designed to enhance speed and aerodynamics,” said Leanda.
XLAB Founder, designer and triathlon industry legend Craig Turner is extremely pleased with the new partnership. “Leanda is an amazing athlete that I feel has been underrated in the past. Her 2012 World Championships proves once and for all that she is phenomenal! I am so pleased we will be working together,” said Craig.
Leanda Cave has continually proved she is a force to be reckoned with, winning race after race and clenching her now 4th world title that accompany her multiple 70.3 and Ironman wins over the years.
