Nominations open Feb. 1 for February 2012 honors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon will open nominations for its newly launched Member of the Month program beginning Wednesday, Feb. 1.
The Member of the Month program was created to recognize USA Triathlon annual members who have demonstrated an exceptional accomplishment or have made significant contributions to the sport of triathlon and all other multisport disciplines. It also recognizes those who have overcome adversity and/or have been supportive of other athletes.

Members and non-members will then vote for each month’s winner from the 20th until the end of the month. Winners and awards will be announced online around the first of each month.
Nominations can be for any accomplishment or contribution throughout that person’s triathlon career.
