Ultra X I Feel Slovenia Returns for 2026 with Runners from 38 Nationalities

August 28, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Global ultra-marathon event series Ultra X is proud to announce the return of Ultra X I Feel Slovenia, in partnership with the Slovenian Tourist Board, for 2026.

About the Race

Ultra X I Feel Slovenia will return on 5–6 September 2026, bringing an international field of runners to Slovenia for a weekend of trail running and adventure.

Around 400 people will travel to the region for this year’s event, representing 38 different nationalities, underlining the increasingly international appeal of both the race and Slovenia as a destination for active and adventure tourism.

Ultra X I Feel Slovenia is a weekend trail running and ultra-marathon event offering distances from 110km to 12km. Competitors can take part across both days or choose a single-stage event, making the weekend accessible to experienced ultra-runners and those looking to take their first steps into longer-distance trail running.

The race takes place amongst the spectacular and diverse landscapes of the Vipava Valley, showcasing the mountains, forests, vineyards and trails that make this part of Slovenia such a distinctive destination.

Over the course of the weekend, competitors and their supporters will have the opportunity to experience not only the trails, but also the culture, hospitality and natural beauty of Slovenia.

The full-distance Ultra X I Feel Slovenia is a UTMB® World Series Qualifier in the 100K category, with the shorter-distance races also offering runners the opportunity to earn UTMB Index results.
