Members of the IMF-NR Ambassador Team have been specifically selected for their outstanding involvement in their own communities, and will continue to exemplify what it means to race for the greater good by giving back within the IRONMAN race communities as well.
“The IRONMAN Foundation and Newton Running have always been associated with positively influencing the triathlon community,” says David Deschenes, Executive Director of The IRONMAN Foundation. “Athletes selected for the IMF-NR Ambassador Team will have an amazing platform from which to support and share the mission of both The IRONMAN Foundation and Newton Running through helping others.”
All IMF-NR Ambassador Team athletes will be competing at either Memorial Herman IRONMAN North American Championship Texas presented by Waste Management, IRONMAN 70.3 Boulder, or Little Debbie IRONMAN Chattanooga during the 2015 race season, and will volunteer their time prior to race day for philanthropic initiatives that will positively impact these IRONMAN race communities.
