Targeting 2 million athletes: HYROX expands global calendar for 2026/27 season

HYROX is massively scaling its fitness racing series for the 2026/27 season, aiming to reach more than 2 million participating athletes and significantly lengthening event windows in key markets.

The new global calendar covers January–June 2027 and shifts from traditional one–two day race weekends to long-form residencies of up to 10 days in select major cities to meet surging demand. HYROX expects over 2 million competitors this season, up from about 1.5 million in 2025/26, with 107 race weekends planned across six continents and new host cities such as San Diego, Portland, Bari, and Nagoya. The brand is also expanding its HYROX Youngstars concept, including events in North America, and will close the season with the 2027 World Championships in Hong Kong from June 10–13. Endurance Biz
