SWBC Partners with Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio to Launch Executive Challenge

As Official Financial Partner, SWBC will sponsor a special corral of the race exclusively for Executives to compete in the “Executive Challenge”

SAN ANTONIO (September 16, 2014) – Competitor Group, Inc. (CGI), organizers of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, today announced SWBC as the Official Financial Partner of the 7th annual Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & 1/2 Marathon on December 5-7, 2014.

As a partner of the race, SWBC is launching an “Executive Challenge,” where executives from companies across south Texas, will compete against each other in a special wave of the race.  Participants in this group will begin the race together in the same start line corral and winners will be determined by the fastest finish times. The top three winners of the Executive Challenge will be recognized on stage at the awards ceremony on race day and also receive a prize package.

Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio will take place in December for the first time in the event’s seven-year history. Event weekend includes two days of running as part of its new Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Festival, including a marathon, half-marathon, 2-person half-marathon relay, 5k and Bike Tour on Sunday, as well as the SUBWAY KiDS ROCK mile race and new 10k on Saturday. All events feature live music and enthusiastic cheerleaders lining the race routes to create the ultimate fitness-centric, block party environment.

A Competitor Group event, the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & 1/2 Marathon will welcome approximately 30,000 participants at the 7th annual event on Sunday, Dec. 7.
