Stan’s Launches Rolled Gold Sealant for road, gravel bikes

BIG FLATS, NY (AUGUST 25, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Stan’s has released Rolled Gold™, a tubeless sealant purpose-built for high-pressure road and gravel tires. Rolled Gold uses a high-latex, water-based formula to seal punctures up to 7.8mm across a 35–100 psi range, with primary testing done at 100 psi. It does the job with less sealant: a 700c x 28mm tire needs just 35ml of sealant, compared to 50ml for Stan’s Original and 50–60ml for the competitive average — a meaningful weight savings for riders chasing every gram.

The formula is built on natural latex rather than synthetic alternatives, which Stan’s says improves adhesion to tire casings and cures into a more durable, less brittle seal over time. It’s also biodegradable and sustainably sourced, meeting EUDR deforestation-free standards.

“Rolled Gold is a high-performance road and gravel sealant requiring less material to seal at a faster rate, making it the lightest, fastest sealant ever,” said Stan’s Mike Bush. “We realized we could deliver a superior product for road cyclists that required less sealant — thus saving weight — yet with the same reliability as our Race Day product, plus you can inject it through the valve. Rolled Gold slots between Stan’s existing sealants: lighter and more purpose-built than Original, and easier to install through the valve than Race Day, without giving up puncture protection.
