Spinlister expands their insurance policy to cover bicycles up to $10,000 against theft or damage
Spinlister, the world leader in peer-to-peer bicycle, snow, and surf rentals, announced today that they have increased their insurance policy to cover bikes up to $10,000. Users in The U.S., Canada, Germany, UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia can now list their higher end bikes without a worry.
“As we are a major sponsor of IRONMAN this season we are seeing a large amount of high end triathlon bikes getting listed on our platform. Many of these bikes are worth more than $5,000, therefore, we want to make sure our triathletes feel comfortable renting out their bikes,” says Spinlister CEO Marcelo Loureiro.
Spinlister believes this new insurance policy will assist with creating the largest network of triathletes listing their bikes for one another. “As the IRONMAN brand expands globally, the need for a strong triathlon community becomes more and more apparent. Spinlister is connecting our athletes in new ways by providing a great service,” says Andrew Messick, Chief Executive Officer for IRONMAN.
Spinlister is encouraging triathletes to list their bikes at www.spinlister.com/list to earn money, eliminate hassle, and help fellow triathletes. If you would like to rent a bike for training or an upcoming race, visit www.spinlister.com.
