RunSignUp Releases Swag Rewards to Motivate Participants

Moorestown, NJ – RunSignUp, the leading technology provider for races in the US, has launched the first release of a new Swag Rewards capability to expand the suite of automated marketing tools for race directors. The initial release of Referral Swag Rewards builds on RunSignUp’s Referral Refund Rewards program, and leverages participants as promoters by enabling race directors to issue swag rewards for a set number of referral registrations.

The process for issuing swag is automated by the parameters set up by the race director; for example, a race director can designate that participants earn a race jacket once they successfully refer five new participants. When the participant reaches five referrals, they receive an automated confirmation email that their reward has been earned and a prompt to select their jacket size.

In the future, Swag Rewards will expand to include a variety of milestones, such as a team reaching a specific size or a fundraiser achieving a designated fundraising goal.

Race Directors can set up Referral Swag Rewards directly on their RunSignUp Race Dashboard with a familiar interface that replicates the process of setting up a registration add-on, only simplified to remove any pricing or transaction settings. Reports for Swag Rewards are combined with registration add-ons in a single report to make it simple for races to manage their products during packet pickup or swag mailings.
