(Moorestown, NJ)– RunSignup released their first quarterly update of 2019, showing strong growth in registrations and transactions. Additionally, the company increased internal capacity and upgraded the technology available to customers.
Compared with the same period in 2018, RunSignup recorded:
- 17% increase in the races served
- 32% growth in registrations
- 34% increase in transactions
The increases can be attributed to races of all sizes, from small, local events to major race series’ like Rugged Maniac. The added customer base led to a 30% growth in gross profit as compared to Q1 of 2018, allowing for more investment in technology, education, and employees.
The RunSignup team also grew in Q1, with the addition of three people to the account management team, two new sales representatives, and two developers. New educational opportunities helped customers build their resumes, including a four-city tour of RaceDay Certification, industry reporting, and free webinars.
Technology improvements included custom race dashboards for every event, a new vertical menu race template, and improved multi-race bundles. The nonprofit side of the platform also got a boost from the extra development power, with creative new ways to highlight the cause and more options for fundraisers.
