RunSignUp has released 1-Click Registration, the final stage of the RunSignUp Fast Registration Program. When enabled by the Race Director, this option allows a previous RunSignUp participant to register for a race in just 1 click. Users can still choose to walk through the full registration process if they prefer, but as Amazon’s “1-Click” purchasing option has become standard, many internet users are accustomed to the idea of an obstacle-free checkout.
If 1-Click Registration has been turned on, it will show up as a choice for any registrant who is logged into RunSignUp (they can remain logged in by default) and has chosen to store their Credit Card. Other commonly needed information – including shirt sizes, emergency contact info, and TXT notification data – is also saved in the registrant’s profile to automatically populate during registration.
RunSignUp implemented Fast Registration options to reduce incomplete registrations, increase customer satisfaction, and lower customer support. In addition to 1-Click capabilities, it includes:
- Faster Page Loads
- Stored Credit Cards
- Staying Logged In
- Reduced Data Entry
- Saved TXT & Email Notification data
- Saved Giveaway Preferences
The 1-Click Registration option is available to second year races, and can be used as a reward for frequent participants. More information on 1-Click Registration can be found here: https://runsignup.wordpress.com/2016/02/24/1-click-registration/
