Exit surveys reflect epic participant engagement, terrific experiential value from third tour stop; Detroit is next destination on Sept. 28
NASHVILLE (Aug. 14, 2018) – The Running USA Accelerator Series presented by Race Roster touched down here late last week for one of the event’s most successful presentations to date. Attended by a group of endurance professionals from events of all sizes, post-event surveys indicated that the full afternoon of sponsorship and marketing knowledge was a win-win.
With more than 75 percent of attendees responding, every single survey taker indicated that the Accelerator series was a tremendous value at the price point and they had taken home at least one lesson that could be immediately put to good use.
“Direct access to leaders in these vital industry categories, in an intimate setting where it’s possible to ask questions and get immediate answers, is really special,” said Christine Bowen, vice president of programming, partnerships and operations for Running USA. “We’re proud to be delivering real value from the Accelerator Series and seeing that reflected in the feedback from our attendees.”
“The topics at this Accelerator Series were right on point. I think social media and digital presence will continue to be a needed conversation,” said event attendee Shirelle LaTortue, the sponsorship coordinator for the Marine Corps Marathon. Many attendees traveled from out of state to learn from the speakers.
“The content continues to resonate with each of the stakeholders in the room. Kudos to the presenters for another knock-out session,” said Alex Vander Hoeven, CEO of Race Roster, who attended the Nashville event.
The next stop in the Accelerator Series will be Detroit, Michigan. on Friday, Sept, 28. The Detroit event
will be held at Red Dunn Kitchen and will feature Shan Riggs, Partner and Head of Sponsorship and Sales at Beatnik Marketing Group; Andy Reilly, Founder of Eventgrow; and Alex Vander Hoeven, CEO of Race Roster.
Running USA CEO Rich Harshbarger looks forward to welcoming the series to his home city of Detroit. “The Accelerator Series has tremendous momentum this year, and we’re looking forward to bringing that energy here next month for a great half day of learning and networking. If you’re a race director or timer in the Midwest, this event will be worth a quick trip to Detroit.”
Following Detroit, the 2018 Accelerator Series will conclude with events in Fort Worth, Texas on Monday, Nov. 12 and Oklahoma City, Okla. on Tuesday, Nov. 13
