LOUIS – October 16, 2015 – Rungevity Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Half Marathon presented by The Quinn Family Foundation will take over “The Lou” this weekend, October 17 – 18. This year, the annual fall race will celebrate a milestone anniversary of five-years of running. Billboard chart-topper, Eric Hutchinson will replace Sister Hazel as the headliner of the post-race Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series.
“The fall season is a great time of year to run in St. Louis and this weekend will be especially meaningful since we will celebrate the race’s five-year anniversary,” said Katie Holmes, Event Manager. “Runners can look forward to some great music as they celebrate their accomplishments at the Finish Line Festival. With a hit single titled ‘Rock and Roll,’ Eric Hutchinson will offer a grand finale to an epic race day.”
The event will once again feature two days of running with the Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K on Saturday and half-marathon and all-new 10k on Sunday. Participants can take the “Remix Challenge” by running on Saturday and any distance on Sunday, and earn the coveted Remix Challenge medal in addition to each race’s finisher medals.
Rungevity Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Half Marathon will start at Market Street west of Tucker Blvd. and finish at N. 15th Street at Chestnut. The course will provide incredible views of St. Louis’ signature Arch and will highlight the city’s scenic neighborhoods, historic areas and parks. The 5K will take place downtown in Kaufman Park.

Upon finishing, runners are invited to relax and celebrate with family and friends at the Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series post-race performance headlined by Eric Hutchinson.
Race weekend kicks off with a free Health & Fitness Expo, where runners can find the latest in running technologies, fitness apparel, health and nutrition information and interactive displays.
