Road Runners Club of America Announces 2027 National Championship Event Series

Seven races expected to attract over 14,500 runners are selected as the National Championship Events of this historic series

Arlington, VA (September 22, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) is proud to announce the 2027 RRCA National Championship Event Series, continuing one of the longest-standing traditions in American distance running. Since its inception in 1958, the RRCA Championship Event Series has showcased top-tier, community-focused races while recognizing outstanding athletes competing in Open, 40+, 50+, and 60+ age groups.

With more than 225 state, regional, and national-level races held in 2026, the RRCA Championship Event Series continues to grow, engaging more than 245,000 runners nationwide. The 2027 RRCA National Championship Series will feature seven premier events, collectively expected to attract more than 14,500 participants. These races celebrate the sport at every level while providing a national stage for outstanding performances by runners from across the country.
