Prime Video and France Télévisions begin filming Tour de France drama after Unchained ends

Filming has begun on a six-part Tour de France drama for Prime Video and France Télévisions, with a French release expected in 2027.

Federation Studio France is producing the scripted series, titled Tour de France, in partnership with race organiser ASO. Each episode will run for 52 minutes.

The production comes after Netflix’s Tour de France: Unchained ended after three seasons. While that documentary followed real riders and teams through the race, the new series centres on the fictional French squad Deepblue and its struggle to survive. Velora
