OutsidePR Opens Applications for 2027 JEDIA+ Program

July 15, 2026

Selected organizations partner with OutsidePR for 4-month pro bono project support to amplify their stories, elevate their visibility, and expand their impact.

Sausalito, Calif. (July 15, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – OutsidePR, a leading boutique public relations firm specializing in the outdoor and active lifestyle industries with a focus on diversifying the outdoor community, is proud to announce that its 2027 Justice, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility+ (JEDIA+) Public Relations program is now open for applications.

Now in its fifth year, OutsidePR’s JEDIA+ Program is designed to help kick-start strategic public relations and communications campaigns for those working to advance justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the outdoors and beyond, supporting a diverse range of historically underrepresented organizations. Eligible applicants include non-profits or brands led by, or serving LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, adaptive, or other underrepresented communities that do not currently have PR.

Through a thorough vetting process based on established eligibility, up to three organizations are selected for the OutsidePR JEDIA+ program. Each partnership lasts four months, during which participants work closely with the OutsidePR team, who volunteer their time and expertise to deliver tailored PR strategies, launch support, media outreach, and guidance on brand positioning. The program provides a hands-on approach aimed at helping organizations increase their visibility, amplify their mission and impact, and boost overall brand awareness.

In 2026, OutsidePR partnered with PYNRS, Ma’Wa Collective, and Take the Lead, providing each organization with a four-month public relations engagement focused on building a strong foundation for brand positioning and strategic communications. As a result of the program, partners secured coverage in leading media outlets, gained valuable knowledge and tools to manage media relations, tell their stories effectively, and build sustainable public relations strategies long after the partnership concluded.

“Meaningful progress in the outdoors depends on listening, learning, and showing up as allies”, shared OutsidePR President Jess Fiaschetti. “At OutsidePR, we believe everyone deserves to see themselves reflected and welcomed in outdoor spaces, which is why we are committed to supporting organizations that are expanding access and creating opportunities for communities that have historically been underrepresented. Through our pro bono work, we hope to contribute our expertise with humility, amplify important voices, and help build an outdoor industry that is more inclusive, equitable, and vibrant for all.”
