Nike and Lululemon Settle Lawsuit Over Mirror Home Gym
September 18, 2026
Nike and Lululemon agreed to dismiss a lawsuit in which Nike accused Lululemon’s former Mirror home workout system of infringing its patents, according to a filing in Manhattan federal court.
According to Reuters, the companies told the court that they would dismiss the case with prejudice, which means it cannot be refiled.
Nike sued Lululemon in 2022, alleging its Mirror Home Gym infringed on six patents covering technology used in Nike’s fitness equipment and smartphone apps that enables users to target specific levels of exertion, compete with other users and record their performance. The lawsuit targeted interactive functions like tracking performance, targeting specific heart rate or exertion levels, and competing with other users (such as Mirror’s “Face off” feature).
