May 24, 2017 (SAN FRANCISCO) – Mascot Sports, a sports and experiential marketing company focused on bringing together athletes, brands and live events, is adding Cyclocross champion Katie Compton to its athlete roster. Compton, the most successful American Cyclocross athlete in the history of the sport and currently #4 ranked Woman Cyclocross rider in the world, joins current Mascot athletes, IndyCar driver TJ Fischer, former professional cyclist, 4-Time U.S. National Champion “Fast” Freddie Rodriguez, and extreme athlete Dane Rauschenberg.

Mascot is exclusively responsible for developing Compton’s commercial and public relations opportunities heading into the 2018 World Championship and beyond.

“Katie is one of the best athletes in the world and we’re looking forward to helping her realize her ambitions and achieve her goals in this key phase of her career,” said Mascot CEO Ryan Dawkins. “She’s a tremendous talent and her successes to date underline her potential to be one of the greatest cyclists of all time.”

“I’m thrilled to partner with Mascot and take this next step in my career,” said Compton. “Ryan and the team at Mascot have a really innovative approach to the industry that will provide me with new and exciting opportunities. I can’t wait to see what’s next.”
