Malibu Triathlon Launches Long Course Registration

Iconic triathlon returns to Zuma Beach the weekend of September 26-27, 2020
MALIBU, CA – November 12, 2019 – Registration for the ultimate long course triathlon no athlete should miss, the 2020 Malibu Triathlon presented by Bank of America opens today. Event weekend returns to the scenic coastal bluffs of Malibu, California on the weekend of September 26-27, 2020; featuring a triathlon experience unlike any other in one of the planet’s most beautiful places to swim, bike and run.

For the first time in Malibu Triathlon history, last year’s race debuted a long course distance event that proved to be wildly successful. Each of the swim, bike and run courses start and finish at world-famous Zuma Beach, featuring must-see views and the quintessential Southern California fitness vibe.
Participants enjoyed the 1.2-mile swim off the gorgeous Malibu coastline, followed by a 56-mile bike ride passing Point Mugu rock and through the fast and flat farmlands of Ventura County, and then finishing with a 13.1-mile beachfront run to sounds of crashing waves and cheering spectators.
The world-class long distance course attracted a sold out field in 2019, with participants from around the world traveling to experience the one-of-a-kind event. The 2020 Malibu Triathlon weekend begins with packet pick up and fitness expo where all participants go to pick up their race number, t-shirt and drop their bike.
