This multi-camera digital broadcast will capture the raw grit, drama, and triumph of 100-mile trail ultrarunning, following competitors throughout their journeys beginning at 5 AM Pacific Time on Saturday, June 13. Delivering 33 continuous hours of live action, the broadcast ensures that families, crew members, and endurance sports fans can follow along from anywhere with an internet connection.

The comprehensive live coverage will go far beyond blow-by-blow and standard race splits, featuring dynamic color commentary, tactical analysis, and live interviews deployed directly in the field with runners, crew members, aid station volunteers, and spectators. Viewers can also look forward to some exclusive surprises along the way.

This expert panel of announcers brings over a century of combined ultra-endurance racing experience, deep roots in the local trail community, and extensive sports media backgrounds, and includes:

• Andy Jones-Wilkins (“AJW”): A legendary veteran ultrarunner and beloved media personality, AJW brings 30 years of elite racing knowledge to the booth. Best known for his seven top-10 finishes at the Western States Endurance Run, AJW has spent the last 16 years as a prominent columnist for iRunFar.com and host of the Crack a Brew with AJW podcast. He will anchor the play-by-play with his signature storytelling and deep historical perspective of the sport.
• Bree Lambert: Bree Lambert serves as both an expert commentator and seasoned media professional. With more than 25 years of experience coaching athletes and business professionals in wellness, human performance, and endurance training, Lambert brings a unique blend of coaching expertise and competitive experience to endurance sports coverage. Her accomplished racing résumé includes three Tahoe Rim Trail 100 victories and multiple USATF Masters National Championship titles. As a former host and field reporter for UltraSportsLive.TV, she has a proven ability to draw out compelling athlete stories in real time. Lambert will host the Bay Area 100 Preview broadcast on Friday, June 12, and provide live race coverage throughout Saturday’s action.
• Victor Ballesteros: Ballesteros has been a prominent fixture and personality in the California ultra scene for two decades. He’s the RD for the Ultra-Classic Tamalpa Headlands 50k and is founder of Victory Sportdesign, an adventure-inspired company that creates uniquely designed bags that keep gear safe and ultra organized. Ballesteros has been an elite competitor with numerous podium finishes in his Ultra career, in addition to Top 10 finishes at many of the most competitive California classic races, including American River 50, Miwok 100K and the Quad Dipsea. A veteran commentator from the trailblazing UltraSportsLive broadcast team, Ballesteros will bring sharp, candid, and runner-centric analysis, in addition to deep insights on the trails that he knows so very well.
• Verity Breen: An international endurance powerhouse, Breen has represented Australia globally and competed in more than 150 marathons and ultramarathons. As a professional corporate communications specialist, executive coach, and high school varsity head coach, she brings an expert understanding of running mechanics, high-level tactical racing strategy, and an articulate, engaging presence and energy to the live broadcast.
• Jonathan Bretan: A veteran cross-country coach and science teacher at nearby Marin Academy with 16 years of experience, Bretan seamlessly fuses an analytical mind with a soul-deep connection to the sport. As a highly seasoned ultrarunner, his sprawling resume covers almost every major trail network in California— and includes finishes at Miwok 100K, UTMB, and a coveted sub-24-hour silver buckle at the Western States 100. He will provide viewers with a bottomless depth of knowledge on local trail terrain, pacing physics, and regional geography.
• Garett Graubins: Serving as the Director of Communications for the Bay Area 100, Graubins was one of the early editors for Trail Runner Magazine and a long-time contributor to Ultrarunning Magazine. After leaving Trail Runner, he maintained the humorous Run Amok column for a full decade. With 16 100-mile finishes to his name—including five Hardrock 100s and a sub-24-hour Western States finish—Graubins will supply honest, authentic, and humorous behind-the-scenes insights from out on the course, infusing the broadcast with deep human-interest narratives.
