Life Time Expands LT Games to Dallas as Fitness Competition Race Heats Up

July 1, 2026

Life Time is expanding its in-house hybrid fitness competition, the LT Games, from its debut market in Minneapolis to North Texas, with the first Dallas event set for October 2–3, 2026 at Life Time Frisco, capped at 144 athletes and backed by a $25,000 prize purse for top male and female finishers. The move, which opens member registration on July 14 and non-member registration on July 16, is tied to the opening of Life Time’s second dedicated HYBRID XT studio at the Frisco club, signaling the brand’s push to compete in the rapidly growing strength-and-endurance competition space that sits between gym programming and organized sport.

Members pay $249 and non-members $299 to test themselves across a series of scalable weight-to-rep challenges designed to blend CrossFit-style grit with HYROX-style strategy, leveraging Life Time’s premium facilities, coaching, and community to build a repeatable competition ecosystem. This ecosystem could eventually include regional events and a national championship, using the LT Games as a flagship to deepen member engagement, drive new revenue, and establish Life Time as a serious player alongside emerging hybrid Fitness competitors.
