COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Registration is open now for the 2017 USA Triathlon Race Director Symposium presented by ACTIVE Network®, the leading educational event for multisport race directors in the United States, scheduled for Jan 20-22 in Dallas.
The annual USA Triathlon Race Director Symposium presented by ACTIVE Network® is a unique opportunity for race directors to gain transformative insights for enhancing their businesses. Attendees will participate in sessions designed for the new world of triathlon, and How to Turn Everything You Know about Race Directing Upside Down to Grow and Future-Proof Your Business will be one of the featured sessions. With a focus on learning and event planning best practices, attendees will also meet and network with their peers while engaging with the USA Triathlon staff, speaking one-on-one with the risk management team from ESIX and becoming informed on various issues and trends within the multisport industry.
Registration for the event is open now at ACTIVE.com, and more information, including a schedule of events, will be made available soon at usatriathlon.org/rdsymposium. Pricing will increase on Dec. 1. The event, which has been hosted by USA Triathlon for more than a decade, will take place at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, and reservations are currently being accepted.
As part of a series of events that brings together multisport race directors and industry leaders, Triathlon Business International (TBI) will also host its seventh Annual Business Conference presented by ACTIVE Network® from Jan. 22-24. With the theme Profitability & Success in Triathlon – Sharing Solutions to Shape the Future of Multisport, attendees will get the latest information, tools and solutions to help optimize business efforts and be successful. USA Triathlon and TBI will host a joint session for both events on Sunday, Jan. 22. Costs are outlined below.
Attendees interested in registering for both USA Triathlon Race Director Symposium and the TBI Annual Business Conference will receive a discounted rate on the dual registrations, with TBI registration discounted to $450 for the full conference, regardless of TBI membership status.
USA Triathlon is also offering a package that includes registration for its first Race Director Certification course of 2017, allowing non-certified race directors an opportunity to become well-versed in race directing methods, insurance/risk management trends, and USA Triathlon sanctioning compliance.
