MyWhoosh is requiring its top Sunday Race Club riders to buy $789 Favero Assioma PRO power-meter pedals to stay eligible for prize money, starting October 4. Category 1 racers—and Category 2 riders who’ve earned over $2,000—must use these pedals as their primary in-game power source or forfeit cash prizes, though they can still compete. The platform says the mandate, alongside a new “eSports Race Mode” update later this fall, aims to standardize hardware and strengthen race integrity. Cycling News
