Inaugural CLASH Endurance Atlanta Event Open For Registration

May 4, 2022

May 4, 2022 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ –Are you ready to add an epic event to the calendar this Fall? If so, grab your friends and family as CLASH Endurance announces that registration is open for the inaugural CLASH Endurance Atlanta Event; a weekend that includes solo/relay mountain biking, a 5K Run/Walk and half marathon. The events, taking place November 11-13, 2022, will utilize Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, recognized as one of the world’s best road courses and located approximately 45 minutes outside of Metro Atlanta. Registration is available at www.clash-usa.com.

CLASH Endurance Atlanta athletes will have the unique opportunity to experience the FOX Raceface XC Trails, ones typically closed to the public. Participants will start on smooth pavement at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta then take on some short yet steep climbs on trails toward the beginning of the course. The trails, created by local cycling clubs and All Out Trail Designs, were designed to be fast and fun. There is a combination of single track and machine-built trails with each lap of the scenic course expected to take seasoned riders less than an hour. Three and six-hour solo ride events are available in addition to six-hour 2 and 3-person relays and Junior 1-2 laps for younger riders ranging in age from 12-16.

“The CLASH Endurance Team is excited for this new event taking place at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in partnership with the Prima Tappa Athletic Club and Georgia Cycling Association. Both are non-profit organizations who are working to further develop the Georgia cycling community. They are doing great work with many junior athletes and we are thrilled to help support their mission of building a healthy and active community,” says Philip LaHaye, Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at CLASH Endurance and former Atlanta resident.

For the running community and those who love to take on trails, the half-marathon will be a mix of asphalt on the track and trail running for a challenging and fun event experience. Those who would like a shorter race day and/or those looking to compete with family or friends can take on the 5K which will be held solely on the raceway. A variety of family friendly activities will be taking place throughout event weekend such as auto racing, food trucks, music and more. CLASH Endurance athletes will also have the opportunity to camp on-site or stay overnight in RVs at the raceway. More details on camping and renting an RV can be found at www.clash-usa.com.
