Event Held in Conjunction with 10th Annual P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon on January 20; Non-Competitive Bike Tour Covers Marathon Course
PHOENIX, AZ: (December 19, 2012) – Cole Real Estate Investments (Cole), a diversified commercial real estate firm, is shifting into high gear as the title sponsor of the inaugural Cole Rock ‘n Roll Arizona Bike Tour, taking place the morning of Sunday, January 20, 2013.
The non-timed bike tour is being held in conjunction with Arizona’s premier running event, the 10th annual P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and ½ Marathon, and will follow nearly 20 miles of the full marathon route. The Cole Rock ‘n Roll Arizona Bike Tour will commence prior to the marathon and will be a fun, non-competitive ride that welcomes cyclists of all abilities to explore the closed streets of downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Bike tour participants will also enjoy on-course entertainment, finishers’ medals, gift bags, t-shirts and a post-race Andy Grammer concert at Sun Devil Stadium.

The Cole Rock ‘n Roll Arizona Bike Tour starts at 7:15 a.m. on January 20 at Washington St. & 4th Ave. in downtown Phoenix. The bike ride will not be timed, and will be limited to top speeds of 20 mph and minimum speeds of 10 mph. Helmets are required. All of the day’s events, including the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon, will finish on Packard Dr. at the Arizona State University Sun Devil & Sun Angel Stadiums. The 10th annual P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon will take place Sunday, January 20, 2013.
