Dryrobe® Returns for Third Year as Official Change Robe of Beyond The Breakers

July 14, 2026

Dryrobe® has renewed its partnership with Beyond The Breakers for a third consecutive year.

July 14, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — Beyond The Breakers, the annual open water swimming summit returning for its third year November 14–15, 2026 at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, has announced that Dryrobe® will continue as the Official Change Robe for Beyond The Breakers.

Founded in 2010, Dryrobe® is the original and world best selling change robe, specializing in waterproof and thermal insulated changing robes. It has become standard apparel for open water swimmers, triathletes, surfers, and outdoor athletes worldwide.

For open water swimmers, the Dryrobe® is not an optional kit. It is the first thing on after getting out of cold water and the last thing off before getting in. Having them alongside Beyond The Breakers for a third year is a reflection of how naturally the two communities fit together.

“Dryrobe® has been with us since the beginning,” said Craig Lewin, Founder of Beyond The Breakers. “They understand this community because they are this community. Every person who walks through the doors at BTB knows who Dryrobe® is and their commitment to our community.”

“We’re proud to support Beyond The Breakers, the swimming community is powerful and passionate, so when they come together in events like this it’s great for the swimmers and the sport itself” said Nick Rees, Dryrobe® Global Partnerships Manager.

Beyond The Breakers 2026 brings together open water swimmers, marathon swimmers, coaches, triathletes, race directors, support crew, masters swimmers, and collegiate swimmers for two full days of expert-led sessions and in-water programming. Opening keynote speaker Rowdy Gaines — three-time Olympic gold medalist — headlines a lineup that includes sessions on open water safety, training, nutrition, and many other topics perfect for all levels.

Open water swimming asks a lot of the people who do it. It asks even more of the gear they rely on when they get out. This November in Waltham, the community that understands that will spend two days together learning, connecting, and pushing the sport forward. Dryrobe® has been part of that community from the very beginning — and for a third year running, they will be right there alongside it. Full event details and tickets at swimbeyondthebreakers.com.

About Dryrobe®:

Established in 2010, Dryrobe® was created by Gideon Bright, a British based designer. Inspired by a waterproof cape his mum made for him when he was a teenager and many experiences of undignified, cold car park changes after a surf, he created the Dryrobe® Advance—the original outdoor change robe.

In doing so, Dryrobe® created an entirely new category: the waterproof change robe. Designed to be used multiple times throughout the day, over wet or dry kit, without the need for drying between uses, Dryrobe® changing robes have fast become an essential piece of kit for all outdoor sports and activities—whether you are staying active outdoors or competing at the highest level.

Today, Dryrobe® is the world’s best-selling changing robe and is a familiar sight across the globe and on the backs of elite athletes. The Dryrobe® client list includes Team GB, Red Bull, and GoPro, and it is regularly seen at major global sporting events, including the Olympic Games. As a certified B Corp™, the brand remains committed to high standards of social and environmental performance, ensuring the gear used to enjoy the natural world is made with respect for it.
