Diplo’s Run Club Kicks Off 2026-27 Tour in Denver This Weekend

Grammy-winning DJ Diplo to run 5K with Denver fans, perform at Cheesman Park after race; Star-studded finish line festival to feature Charly Jordan as opening act; 8,000 runners registered for inaugural Diplo’s Run Club Denver 5K

DENVER (July 10, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – More than 8,000 runners are set to take over Cheesman Park on Sunday as Diplo’s Run Club makes its Denver debut, bringing a celebrity-driven mix of fitness, music and community to the Mile High City.

The event, headlined by Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Diplo, combines a 5K through one of Denver’s most recognizable neighborhoods with a post-race concert and finish-line festival. Diplo will run the 3.1-mile race before performing for participants at the park.

The 5K begins at 9:00am this Sunday, July 12, at Cheesman Park, with the start line located on Cheesman Park Road, south of East 12th Avenue. The course starts and finishes at the park, taking runners through streets near the state Capitol before returning for live music, wellness activations and a daytime mini-music festival celebration.

Charly Jordan is scheduled to open the post-race concert.

“The last two years of Diplo’s Run Club have been so amazing and I’m stoked to bring it back for season three,” says Diplo. “Music and fitness are such large parts of my life – it’s very special for me to be able to share both of those things with my fans together in one event. We had a hundred thousand people run and party with me last year; I can’t wait to bring the energy to Denver this weekend.”

Diplo’s Run Club has quickly grown from a new event concept into a national fitness-meets-music series. The event blends a professionally timed 5K with the feel of a mini music festival, attracting both experienced runners and first-time participants. More than half of runners across the series have finished their first 5K through Diplo’s Run Club.

Through partnerships with PLUS1 and Good Sports, Diplo’s Run Club donates a portion of proceeds from each event to help expand access to youth sports in high-need communities. Funds raised through the Denver event will support youth across Colorado with new sports equipment, footwear and apparel.

Fitness has always been major part of Diplo’s life: for a man who travels 300 days a year, he squeezes in workouts no matter where he is in the world. Diplo originally came up with the idea for this event series after he ran the Miami half marathon and then found himself at the club with other runners craving a post-workout celebration.
