Malibu Triathlon Announces 2021 Race Dates

Malibu Triathlon presented by Bank of America is delighted to confirm its 2021 race weekend will be held on September 25-26.

This year’s Age Group races will feature the event’s prestigious Classic and Olympic distances. The Classic distance is a 0.5 mile swim, 17 mile bike and 4 mile run, while the Olympic distance consists of a 1.5km swim, 40km and 10km run.

The event will also see the return of the Corporate Challenge and Entertainment Industry Challenge and will continue to add to the $15m already raised for pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).

Malibu Triathlon presented by Bank of America, which was first held in 1986, starts and finishes on the sands of Zuma Beach and takes in the incredible ocean views of the Pacific Coast Highway.

The 2020 event was replaced by the Virtual Triathlon and Duathlon presented by Bank of America. More than 700 participants from around the world took part raising $210,000 for pediatric cancer research at CHLA.

Malibu Triathlon is a favorite of the film and entertainment industry with the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron, Tom Cruise, James Marsden and Jennifer Lopez having taken part.
