An important day for the future of the company’ – Campagnolo sells minority stake to owners of Pinarello
September 2, 2026
Campagnolo has announced a strategic minority investment from SPAC SA, a Swiss private investment holding company, marking a historic shift as the first external stakeholder in the nearly century-old, family-controlled Italian component brand. The Campagnolo family will retain majority ownership and operational control, with headquarters remaining in Vicenza, and the company will continue to operate independently from SPAC’s other cycling investments, including Pinarello.
The investment is intended to accelerate Campagnolo’s ongoing turnaround by funding product development, supply-chain upgrades, growth in its Original Equipment (OEM) business, and deeper ties with elite/pro racing teams. Company spokespeople described the move as a “delicate moment” and an important step after recently adding its first external board member, signaling a broader push to modernize and compete faster in a rapidly changing market.
