12th Annual YSC Tour de Pink Rolls October 9-11; Features a Three-day and One-day Century Option to Support Women Diagnosed with Breast Cancer Under the Age of 40
The 12th Annual YSC Tour de Pink® – the premier cycling ride designed to raise funds and to empower young women battling breast cancer, announced a new route through Delaware for its three-day, 200+ mile East Coast journey taking place October 9-11.
On Saturday October 10, the second day of the Tour now features a one-day century (100 mile) or metric century (62 mile) loop beginning and ending at Dover Downs in Dover, DE. On the third and final day of the Tour, riders will travel east and finish their journey on the sandy beaches of Rehoboth, DE. “Delaware is a tremendous place for cycling in the fall. The new YSC Tour de Pink route features a more scenic journey through the state and serves to accommodate additional one-day riders looking to join more than 300 other cyclists in support of the YSC,” said Jennifer Merschdorf, Chief Executive Officer, YSC. . “We look forward to spending more time in Delaware this October as we continue to raise awareness and funds specifically for young women battling breast cancer.”

The three-day journey kicks off from suburban Philadelphia and heads south traveling through scenic back roads and stopping for an evening celebration at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino. The second day, also doubling as our flat and fast century ride accommodating our one day riders, will loop through Delaware finishing back at Dover Downs. Finishing on day three, riders travel east directly towards the shore and finish on the beach in Rehoboth, Delaware.
The ride, features full rider support, including hotel accommodations, catered meals, rest stops, ride marshals, support and gear (SAG) vehicles and mechanics.
